Even after sending their chi to Tamahome, Nakago still seems to be the more powerful of the two. Chiriko then suggests that perhaps they could seal Seiryuu in the scroll that Taiitsukun gave him (during their mid-series powerup) so that they may defeat Nakago. Miaka does so, using her second wish, rendering Nakago powerless. Tamahome then punches right through Nakago's chest.
