	[Previous Scene] [Next Scene] [Volume # 3] Tamahome tells Hotohori that he will not give up his love for Miaka.
	Volume: # 3 Episode: # 12 Miaka, upset of Yui's sudden show of loyalty to the Seiryuu side, convinces herself that she cannot return any of Tamahome's affection for Miaka believes that if she does, she will be betraying Yui even more. However, Tamahome persists. Hotohori overhears, and bursts into Miaka's room, pointing his sword at Tamahome's throat. Hotohori proclaims his love for Miaka and his intentions to make her his empress after the summoning of Suzaku. Tamahome appears not to be fazed, and reaffirms his love for Miaka despite the sword pointed at his throat. Then, Hotohori tells Tamahome that he cannot kill him, since they are both Suzaku Shichiseishi. However, if they ever become just ordinary men, he would not hesitate to kill him just to be together with Miaka. Hotohori then leaves the room (after which, Tamahome goes SD, gasps for breath and comments on how scared of Hotohori he was).
