As Miaka hurriedly runs to the room where Chichiri will be performing a spell in order for Miaka to talk to Tamahome, Hotohori comments on how devoted Miaka is to Tamahome. Tasuki, who has been used to seeing only Hotohori's devotion for Miaka and has never even met Tamahome, comments on how Hotohori, Tamahome and Miaka are in a love triangle. Nuriko overhears and promptly punches Tasuki into a wall.
