It has been pretty obvious to everyone that Miaka has been missing Tamahome ever since he went off to Kutou so that the Kutou empire would stop their attacks on Konan. However, while on another visit with Tamahome's family, Miaka mistakenly glomps Chuei just because his hair was down for once (Chuei usually wears it in a bun).
